Benny Hill

Talking of 70's kitsch brings the Benny Hill show to mind, Hill revolutionised sketch comedy, pushing the boundaries of the form with his often crude humour. Along with perpetual foil Jackie Wright and the infamous Hill's Angels, Benny Hill entertained England as well as the rest of the world with his tacky antics and trademark silent chase scenes. He was dropped without cermonony in 1989 by Thames TV and ironically went on to become one of the biggest names in the US through American TV agent Don Taffner and in France where he is revered as a comedy auteur. So here's a little Benny.
