Rival Knitting Circle - The real thing

These are not "rivals" Miles; this is the original knitting circle, established 1982 at that venerable institution of learning, South Bank University which is on par with that other seat of distinction Thames Valley University our very own alma mater.

I understand that the Knitting Circle is an exclusive club of old "academic" queens looking for some satisfaction in their twilight years in academia. Helping to nurture the progression of young male students, as they pass from being naive cheeky young chicken's fresh from the provinces, on thier way to becoming cynical little scene queen's prancing around Soho.

Their motto is derived ffrom that epic poem Juvenis Homo Christianos Congressus,

"panton vobis homo hominis, vos suspendo sicco per totus puer"

a rough translation from the official YMCA Dictionary is

"They have everything for you men to enjoy, you can hang out with all the boys".
