Have you noticed that some people on their email signatures have uncessary qualifications after their name. A friend of mine had a father who is now dead but was a pilot . I dont like to speakill of the dead but the whole family were very pretentious. His father had the name Captain printed on all his cheque books and credit cards. A Captain in the army is a rank but a Captain in a civilian job is just a job title like IT Manager. I think it must have been in the glory days ofair travel when there was mored kudos being a pilot. Im sure the trainingis just as hard but theres no kudos nowadays so many people fly and I thinkthey are just seen as taxi drivers in the air.Miles (GCSE)
