I was driving to work the other day and saw a sign saying 'An evening with Syd Little' held at the local school. I was intrigued because I always felt that Syd was overshadowed by his partner Eddie Large and his real talents never really came to the fore.
Syd Little born Cyril Mead in 1942 is now hosting a one man show which is an invitation to hear about the life work and faith of Britains best-loved comedy acts. Syd will recount his story of revitalised Christian conviction, so its a bit of guitar playing a few stories and bit of bible bashing. I just hope old fatty Large doesnt gate crash with his Mike Yarwood style impersanations.
I think we should support Syd and go to his show
